Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)
A rested, open look, never a startled one.
Blepharoplasty refreshes the upper and/or lower eyelids by removing or repositioning excess skin and fat. The goal is simple: to look rested and more like yourself, never surprised or 'pulled'.

Who it helps
Over time, upper eyelids can become hooded and lower lids can develop bags or shadows. Blepharoplasty addresses both, upper, lower, or together, to open the eyes and soften a tired appearance.
Dr. Eren assesses skin, fat and the position of the brow together, because a heavy brow can mimic excess eyelid skin and is sometimes better treated differently.
The procedure
Upper blepharoplasty removes a fine strip of excess skin through an incision hidden in the natural eyelid crease. Lower lids are refined by repositioning or reducing fat, often through an incision just below the lashes or inside the lid, leaving little to no visible scar.
It is usually performed under local anaesthesia with sedation, or light general anaesthesia, as a day case.
Recovery & results
Bruising and swelling are mostly settled within one to two weeks, with fine sutures removed at about a week. Vision is not affected, though reading may be more comfortable than screens for the first few days.
Results are long-lasting and look natural, refreshing the eyes without changing their character.
Common questions
Will the scars show?
Incisions follow the eyelid's natural crease and lash line, so once healed they are very difficult to see.
Will I look 'different'?
No, the aim is a rested version of your own eyes, not a changed expression.
