Gynecomastia (Male Breast Reduction)
A flatter, firmer, naturally masculine chest.
Gynecomastia is enlargement of male breast tissue, common, benign, and very treatable. Dr. Gamze Eren corrects it with a tailored combination of liposuction and gland excision to restore a flat, defined chest that looks natural in and out of clothing.

What gynecomastia is
Gynecomastia is the development of excess glandular tissue and/or fat in the male chest. It can affect one or both sides and may stem from hormonal changes, genetics, weight, or certain medications. It is harmless, but for many men it affects confidence, and it rarely resolves on its own once established.
During consultation, Dr. Eren assesses whether the fullness is mainly glandular, fatty, or mixed, as this determines the right technique.
The procedure
Treatment is tailored to your anatomy. Excess fat is addressed with fine-cannula liposuction, while firm glandular tissue is removed through a small, discreet incision at the edge of the areola. The aim is a smooth, even contour with well-hidden scars.
Surgery is performed under general anaesthesia in an accredited hospital and usually takes one to two hours as a day case.
Recovery & results
Most men return to desk work within a few days and wear a supportive compression garment for several weeks to refine the result. Strenuous exercise is reintroduced gradually over four to six weeks.
The improvement in chest contour is immediate and long-lasting, provided weight stays stable and any underlying cause is addressed.
Common questions
Will the scars be visible?
Incisions are small and placed at the areolar border or hidden within liposuction access points, so scars fade to become discreet over time.
Is the result permanent?
Removed gland does not grow back. A stable weight and avoiding contributing medications or substances help keep the result long-term.
