Understanding Poland syndrome
Poland syndrome is present from birth and varies widely. It most often involves absence or underdevelopment of the pectoralis major muscle on one side, and may include differences in breast and nipple size or position, the chest wall, and sometimes the hand. Reconstructive options

For women, breast symmetry procedures may be combined to match the opposite side.
